Job Description:   The position is for a Materials Manager for U&IO. The individual should have worked as a Materials Manager for large scale multi-billion dollar projects preferably Utilities, Interconnecting & Offsite (UIO) in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical.Key responsibilities:·         Performs material control, procurement, logistics, Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS)/inspection, and field material management activities in accordance with general business acumen, corporate Operating System Requirements (OSR), and the established project and Material Management Plans, policies, and procedures·         Performs the accurate, timely, and cost-effective identification, sourcing, buying, delivering, warehousing, installation, and commissioning of material and equipment required to support the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) effort·         Provides general and direct supervision to material management personnel assigned to the project·         Prepares all project set up documents such as Procurement Strategic Execution Plan, Procedures, Material Responsibility Matrix, Material Manager, commercial documents and template forms·         Prepares manpower plan and estimates to support the baseline and schedule.
